Haisley students continue on to Forsythe Middle School or Slauson Middle School.

HISTORY:
- Haisley School was built in 1954. It was named in honor of Otto W. Haisley, who served as the Ann Arbor Public School Superintendent from 1924 to 1953. Haisley School began as a neighborhood school where all students walked to school. Ms. Louise Ritsema was the first principal and stayed Haisley’s principal for 25 years.
- 1963: Haisley School began an extensive building program that by 1967, three major additions had been completed bringing the building to a total of 26 classrooms, and new audio-visual, science and library facilities.
- In 1977/1978 a new media center was built out of some classrooms and other spaces.
